Trexo Device Naming Contest

Official Rules & Contest Agreement

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

This contest is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, subject to applicable local consumer laws.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify submissions that do not comply with the Official Rules.

By submitting an entry to the Trexo Device Naming Contest (the “Contest”), you (“Entrant”) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Trexo Robotics Inc. (“Trexo” or “Sponsor”), which are final and binding in all respects.

Contest Description: This Contest invites eligible individuals to submit original name suggestions for two (2) Trexo devices:

  • One Trexo Home device
  • One Trexo Clinic device

There will be:

  • One (1) winner for the Home device name
  • One (1) winner for the Clinic device name

One individual may win both contests.

1. Sponsor

Trexo Robotics Inc. (“Sponsor”, “Trexo”), located at 3-6705 Millcreek Dr., Mississauga, Ontario L5N 5M4, Canada.

2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

Entry is free. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

3. Eligibility

  • Open to legal residents of the United States, Canada, and the European Union / European Economic Area (EEA) who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry.
  • Employees, officers, directors, contractors, agents, and immediate family members of Trexo and its affiliates / advertising/promotional agencies may not enter.

4. Contest Period

Entries accepted starting January 14, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. ET until January 28, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Entries received after this period are invalid.

5. How to Enter

  • Visit the designated entry page during the Contest Period and submit one original device name suggestion for Trexo Home and/or Trexo Clinic.
  • Entries must be original, not previously published or entered in another contest, and comply with all restrictions below.
  • Automated, bulk, or robotic entries are prohibited.

6. Content Restrictions

Entries will be disqualified if they:

  • Include profanity, hate speech, discrimination, or sexual content
  • Contain symbols, emojis, or non-standard characters
  • Infringe any third-party rights
  • Are unlawful in any jurisdiction

7. Judging & Winner Selection

Winning device names will be selected through an internal Trexo vote.

For each device, the name receiving the most internal votes will be selected as the winner.

In the event of a tie, Trexo CEO Manmeet Maggu will be the tie-breaker, and he will not vote in the first round

Voting will be conducted anonymously:

      • The voting team will not see the identity of the Entrants
      • Voting will be based solely on the submitted device names
      • No bias or personal attribution will be considered

8. Prizes

  • Two (2) winners: One for the Home device name, one for the Clinic device name.
  • Each winner receives one (1) custom pair of Nike shoes.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is permitted.

9. Intellectual Property Assignment

To ensure enforceability worldwide, including for EU/EEA entrants:

  1. As a condition of entry, Entrant irrevocably assigns to Trexo all rights, title, and interest in the submitted name, including:
    • Copyright
    • Trademark rights
    • Trade name and other proprietary rights
    • All derivative and future rights
  2. This assignment is worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, and royalty-free.
  3. Entrant acknowledges:
    • They have full authority to transfer these rights
    • Trexo may use, modify, commercialize, register, or not use the name at its discretion
    • No further compensation, credit, or royalty will be owed beyond the prize
  4. EU/EEA Clarification: Entrant warrants the submission is original and does not infringe any third-party rights. EU/EEA entrants agree that this assignment is legally binding and enforceable under applicable EU law. This complies with EU contest practice provided the assignment terms are transparent and consented to.

10. Representations & Warranties

By entering, you represent that:

  • Your entry is your original work
  • It does not violate any laws or third-party rights
  • You agree to the terms and conditions

11. Publicity Release

Except where prohibited by law, winners consent to the use of their name, first name only, city/state/province/country, and contest entry for marketing/publicity without additional compensation.

12. Privacy & GDPR / EU DATA PROTECTION

EU/EEA Entrants:

Your personal data will be processed by Trexo for administration of the Contest only and in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). 

We collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Any other information you submit

GDPR Rights:

You may request:

  • Access to your personal data
  • Correction or deletion
  • Restriction of processing
  • Object to processing
  • Data portability

Data will be used only for Contest administration (validation, awarding prizes, contacting winners) unless Entrant consents to further processing. Data will not be sold or shared outside this scope without consent. 

13. Limitation of Liability

Trexo is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected entries; technical errors; or third-party actions.

14. Applicable Law & Disputes

  • For U.S./Canada entrants: Laws of Ontario, Canada apply.
  • For EU/EEA entrants: Your local consumer protection law and GDPR apply in addition to these rules.

If any portion is found invalid under a particular jurisdiction’s law, the remainder remains enforceable.

15. General Conditions

Trexo reserves the right to modify, cancel, or suspend the Contest if fraud, technical or legal issues occur.
